About
I am a full-stack software engineer and Information Technology student at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences. Over the past four years, I have built APIs, web applications, mobile products, and analytical dashboards for organisations in Malawi.
At Ripple Africa, I turn environmental data into decision-ready dashboards and build offline-first tools for more than 200 field employees. My wider work spans event technology, applied AI, real-time systems, developer communities, and teaching the next generation of developers.

Production platforms, award-winning applied AI, and real-time tools built with collaborators for users across education, events, aviation, and civic services.
Education / applied AI
An AI-powered past-paper platform serving about 500 users. I integrated text- and image-based question answering, image-to-text processing, and topic-based quiz generation. The project won Best Innovator of the Year at MUBAS Research and Innovation Week.
Events / real time
A real-time event management platform developed with a teammate for UniPod. It has supported live events, including one featuring Sparc Systems CEO Wisely Phiri.
Aviation / live tracking
A GPS-based drone management system with real-time tracking and live communication between drones and the operations dashboard.
Civic tech / computer vision
A waste-collection route optimiser and illegal-dumpsite detection dashboard. I developed, trained, and integrated the YOLO v11 detection model for a project selected as a Gaithon 2025 finalist in Ghana.
